Strive to develop the whole student

Book

Tutoring well done, is the process by which a student is assisted in reaching his/her full scholastic potential. Often students struggle to secure the achievement of their personal best. Striving for excellence is nothing more than a student simply doing their best each day. The tutor is often able to unearth study methods and pedagogical styles which enable that personal talent to be expressed. Students may wrongly believe that tutoring is a way of buying achievement or serving as a crutch for a lack of personal focus. It will never take a student beyond what their skill level is nor will it compensate for a lack of commitment.

Westbrook strives to develop the whole student, to pair learning styles with the complementary pedagogical style; we believe this coupled with student commitment will allow them to reach their personal best with reliability and consistency.

Westbrook Tutoring has a 30-year legacy of impacting the next generation of leaders with many highly specialized tutors who care deeply about helping your children reach their academic goals while entering into a trusting mentor relationship.
